Wien Tag 30: Kompositor, Opernsanger, und Carmen

Couldn't have asked for a better day after Pi day. First, I met Sunleif Rasmussen, a notable composer
from the Faroe Islands (which I learned are right smack dab in between Iceland and Scotland). Then, I met
and had coffee with an opera singer who will perform in the Stadtsoper's production of Aida Sunday evening. 
On the way to Bizet's Carmen, I ran into this swing band, and there was a couple literally dancing in the street:


For dinner, I found this cute deli and befriended the owner, with the lovely name Inca. She very sweet, and even gave me
a discount on my meal!





Then, got 2 Euro standing room tickets for Carmen, but actually found an open seat with friends, and the 
Volksoper didn't fail to impress:




On the way home, I was greeted with this magical sound:
